La Poste is a sailing boat designed by Bruce Farr lead by different captain, Daniel Mallé and Éric Tabarly who replaced Daniel Malle as skipper after the second leg in the Volvo Ocean Race (formerly the Whitbread Round the World Race). After the race the boat changed owner and team. In 2012 La Poste participated in the Barcolana with a team composed by members of Mascalzone Latino and 8 boys and girls with Down Syndrome. In 2014 participated in the Gran Prix del Atlántico and set a record time from Lanzarote to Santa Marta in 15 days. La Poste is currently in Cartagena. Now La Poste want to help kids with disabilities in Panama.

  • We will set a sailing school in Panama and start a collaboration with local schools and ONG.
  • Funding us you will help us make the world a better place one kid at the time

What We Need

  • We will need to fund the trip from Cartagena to Panama including the Canal passage that is quite expensive for a boat of this size (around 4000$)
  • We’ll need to buy a dinghy for bringing the kids to the boat
  • We are planning to put anchor in a free place so this  will come cheap
  • We will need to rent a space for storage kids materials

What we will achieve with your help

  • Kids with disabilities will have a tool to improve their lives and feel special.
  • In our video you can see this boat has already did something similar Italy

We know it will not be easy but we are committed to this project and will not stop even if we cannot reach our funding goal
